What exactly is a “decant”?
A decant is a sample of fragrance transferred from its original full-sized bottle into a smaller atomiser. You get the exact same genuine liquid — just in a size you can try properly, travel with, and actually afford.
Are the fragrances authentic?
100%. Every fragrance we decant is bought from authorised UK and EU retailers and distributors. If we wouldn't wear it ourselves, it doesn't leave the workshop. More detail on the disclaimer page.
So am I buying a full bottle?
No — you're buying a sample (a decant) of a fragrance, not the full retail-sized bottle. Your sample arrives in an unbranded glass atomiser, labelled and sealed by us. The full details live on our disclaimer page.
Why isn't my sample in branded packaging?
Decants are transferred by hand into unbranded atomisers — the original bottle stays with us. It keeps our costs down (which keeps your prices down) and keeps us firmly on the right side of trademark law.
How should I store my sample?
Keep it somewhere cool, dark and dry, away from direct sunlight and radiators, with the cap firmly on. Looked after like that, a decant will keep for a good while.
Can I return a decant?
For hygiene reasons we can't accept returns on opened samples. If yours arrives damaged or leaking, get in touch and we'll make it right.
How long will a sample last?
It depends on the size of the decant and how heavy your trigger finger is. Stored well, fragrance keeps for a long time — though bright, citrusy top notes are usually the first to fade.
Do you sell full bottles too?
We're specialists, not a department store — decants are our thing. If that ever changes, you'll hear it here first.
When does the shop open?
